Xotic AC/RC Booster / ACDC Drive

General

The Xotic AC / RC booster is a Tubescreamer based circuit. Instead of the Tubescreamer like frequency filter tone control (which only filter the mids), the RC/AC has a Baxandall tone stack. This enables to filter the high and bass frequencies.
The schematic of the RC and AC booster is basically the same, but some part values differ. The AC booster basically has more gain / output.

A great project to build either the AC or RC Booster is the AC/DC Drive from JMK PCBS:

An other project would be the Quasar from MadBeanPedals. This PCB has been discontinued, but its available under discontinued PCBs:

My Build

For this build i used a 1590B enclosure. Waterslide decal plus epoxy resin finish for the enclosure finishing. For the on/off switch ive used a Tap Relais Bypass Switching system.
